THE SHORT ANSWER
The book explores a pattern built from the muon-to-tau mass ratio. It has not established a law of particle masses or a quantitative link to the universe’s size.
The book explores a pattern built from the muon-to-tau mass ratio. It has not established a law of particle masses or a quantitative link to the universe’s size.
What is the proposed pattern?
Chapter 5 of GOD PLAYS DICE Volume One describes a separate research idea. Its starting number is the square root of the ratio of the muon’s mass to the tau’s mass. The author asks whether simple powers of that number might help organize lepton masses and mixing quantities.
The ladder image in this question is a way of picturing a possible numerical pattern. The chapter does not establish a physical lattice or a rule that creates particle masses. It presents an unfinished question.
Why start with the muon and the tau?
The chapter identifies those two particles as the chosen starting pair. It does not give a physical reason that singles them out, or derive their selection from a deeper theory. Naming the ratio therefore does not explain why nature would use it.
Could that number determine the universe’s size?
The book expresses a hope that the laws governing matter and the laws governing the universe might eventually connect. This chapter does not supply a quantitative link from the mass ratio to the universe’s size. The author leaves open whether a deeper structure could leave related marks in matter.
What would make the idea convincing?
The book’s own standard is a prediction of new measurements. A pattern that arranges measurements we already know can be interesting, but flexibility in choosing and combining them can also produce coincidences. A convincing story alone cannot settle that difference.
Chapter 5 describes this particle-pattern work as unfinished and not predictive enough to carry the main case in Volume One. The book’s gravitational-wave benchmark stands separately: its argument does not depend on this particle pattern.

What saved HD-Blast calculations show conditionally, how their errors were bounded, and why a static five-dimensional shell is not yet a stable universe.
The author has proposed interacting fields and a quark-coupling ratio as possible ingredients in matter’s survival. The dated records leave the physical construction unfinished and do not supply…
